About Heartpeople®

Heartpeople® LLC was founded by Devon Hansen to serve as the corporate representative for all her professional activities, including her work as a nationally known speaker, conflict and change management consultant, author, artist, and licensor of her charming Heartpeople® artwork.

Devon's talent as an artist innocently emerged when she created a special Valentine for her daughters. It was a heartfelt gift of love, and although she is not formally trained as an artist, that little drawing has since led Devon to create a universe of colorful paintings and drawings that shine with an unpretentious and straightforward charm. Her artwork has a magical quality that many find therapeutic and uplifting. So much so that Devon's artwork has repeatedly been commissioned for various health care facilities, where her fanciful images bring a sense of hope and joy to recovering residents and patients. 144 pieces of her original artwork were commissioned to fill every room in a new Heart Hospital except the operating room. Heartpeople® art was commissioned to fill the entire Stillwater Hospital and the second floor lobby of the new Children's Services building. 1,000 pieces of Heartpeople® artwork were commissioned by an Ohio State Senator to be sent around the world as thank-you gifts for contributions received.

Devon is the author of Angry? Do You Mind If I Scream? and The Heartpeople® Dictionary. Her writings have been published in the United Kingdom's Career and Counselor Magazine and featured in US Journal Magazine and in the book Real Men Have Feelings Too by Dr. Gary Oliver. Her writing also appears in Mentoring by Floyd Wickman and Terri Sjodin, as well as in baseball player Dave Dravecky's The Encourager Magazine and the National Speakers Association's Speak Out!

Heartpeople® CEO Devon Hansen is committed to giving back, regularly donating to nonprofits such as Patti LaBelle's Pajama Club, based in Manhattan, which raises money for children in need. Devon also shares her inspiring message with youth groups, domestic violence centers, and people seeking loving inspiration to do more with their lives. Once helpless, homeless, and hopeless, Devon Hansen has come a long way, overcoming tremendous odds. Her inspirational message touches hearts and inspires people around the world.

“Thank you for sharing your heart….Your charisma…Your experience….Your values, skills and knowledge in healthy ways of dealing/coping with anger! We were richly blessed to have you here and touch our hearts…You were wonderful!...You were able to reach out and be one with the suffering souls here!”
